November Sunset

Lake Vermilion is a glacial lake located in the Canadian Shield region of northeast Minnesota, 90 miles north of Duluth and 225 miles north of Minneapolis. The water surface covers 40,500 acres, and the lake has over 300 miles of shoreline and 365 islands. Summer temperatures can reach into the 90's F, and -40 is not uncommon in the winter.
