“The Sound of New Beginnings”

Do you look forward to new beginnings? Do you love a new challenge? Are you ready when the next new adventure pops into your life? This month celebrates new beginnings. Pomp and Circumstance is playing ceremoniously at graduations that launch our young people into a new start of their life. The sounds of wedding bells announce the new families that are beginning, and the chirping of sparrows above my back door declare the start of new life.

It's in that spirit of new beginnings that we begin a new step in the exciting ministry here at Community. Beginning on June 8th we are adding a second service to our Sunday schedule. If you have come to worship and struggled to find a place to sit with your family, you know the need. After much discussion and prayer we are launching this new serice at 8:00am.

We step into this new adventrue trusting that God will help us reach into our community in new ways for Jesus sake. One pastor recently shared with me that his leadership thought of the second service as starting a church within a church that could reach a new group of people. We don't know all the possibilities and we have some uncertainty, but we know that God continues to work in our midst and we trust Him.

I hope you will roll up your sleeves and get involved to help make this a positive step for the future. We will need more folks in music, nursery, ushering, candle lighting, sound board, and greeting. Please contact the church office if you are willing to serve during 8:00am or 10:00am Worship
