“It's Family Time”

The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1

Packing up all the ?stuff? you will need for the week or weekend can seem unending. You prepare for every possible weather event and every possible activity so when you finally leave it seems like a lot of work to go and relax. But as you think about it you know it?s worth it, taking time to spend in God?s great creation is definitely good for the family and good for the soul.

Summer is an excellent season to spend extra bonding time to build into your family a stronger foundation of love and care. It can also be important for us as a church family. Spending time together away from the normal church worship and activities can help us to grow stronger connections to Christ and to each other. I hope that fact will spur you on to join us for the 2002 Camping and Worship Weekend on August 9, 10, 11 at Lake Beauty Bible Camp.

It is a wonderful weekend that you can plug into at many levels. With camp being only 20 to 25 minutes from Upsala, you can join us for the whole weekend or you can come to camp when you want.

Whether you camp or not I hope you will want to join us for the Saturday Night Campfire Sing-along and Smore Fest at 7:30pm. You will also want to join us for the Sunday Worship at 10:30am and the Fellowship Lunch, Baptism and afternoon activities to follow. Remember there is no worship service at Community Covenant on that Sunday. You will not want to miss this weekend on the beautiful shores of Lake Beauty. I hope you can all jump in and connect with God?s family. Flyers are available at church or call the church office for more information.
