Graduating Seniors,

When I think about the new day that you are facing, the word that comes to my mind is decisions. Most of the big decisions in your life, up to this point, have been made for you. Now, however, you will face a barrage of big, life-changing decisions. How can we know what God's will is?

When I was a college student, a man that I really respect used to say to me, "I don't know what major you're supposed to choose, and I don't know who you're supposed to marry, and I don't know which career is for you, but I do know God's will for your life!" He would then go on to teach me from the book of Matthew.

The point is that, while those big questions are important and often weigh heavily on our minds, they are not the most important decisions in our lives. If they were, God would have made the answers to them much more clear then He has. But the things He has been very clear about are written in His Word, the Bible. If we do the things that He has told us in His Word, then we are truly doing His will. And if we are doing His will, then we are truly His children and He will take care of all of our needs.

My prayer for each of you is that you will know and do God's will -- wherever life takes you.

Graduates will be recognized in both Worship Services.
Graduates, Please choose one service to attend.
Baccalaureate is at 8:00PM at Community Covenant Church.
