What's Been Happening?
Campus
This month, we started into a series on Issues - taking a look at what God's Word has to say about some of the issues of our lives. For our Off-Campus service night, we served the Upsala community's school by cleaning the busses, auditorium, and storage rooms.
AC
On the weekend of Feb 5-7, we went with 13 Sr Highers up to Adventurous Christians in northern MN. We enjoyed God's creation, cozy cabins, snowshoes, leaning more about prayer, sauna and polar dip, singing worship songs by the fire, broomball, and Old Chicago pizza in Duluth. Through it all, we made awesome memories and got to know each other and God better!
Valentine's Banquet
On Sunday the 14th, the Sr Highers gathered at CCC for a formal evening of entertainment organized by Sheila Ripplinger. We enjoyed a delicious meal, prizes, pictures and a lively presentation about love by Arlene Warga and Jenny Bardy. We ended the evening with Les Miserables, a film about love and grace at work in the life of an eternally changed man.
What's Coming Up?
All Church Skiing at Spirit Mountain
On Saturday, March 6th, we will head to Spirit Mountain, Duluth. This event is open to individuals and families of all ages. We'll leave from church at 6am and return around 9pm.

There will be a Parent Meeting (parents of Jr and Sr Highers) immediately following worship on March 14. Items for discussion will include the direction of the youth ministry, the canoe trip being planned for this summer, as well as any questions, concerns, etc.

Sr Highers! On the night of Saturday, March 27th, we'll be heading to Albany for Sr High Moonlight Bowling. Times and cost to be announced.
Bellhopping is back! Raise funds towards upcoming events and trips. Recent bellhoppers have averaged about $10 an hour! March 5 & 7, 12 & 14, 19 & 21, 26 & 27
Sr Highers! Mark your calendars now for MOVE 2010! The weekend is April 9-11. This is a mini-mission trip to the Twin Cities area that combines high-energy worship, preaching from Efrem Smith, and outreach experiences. More info coming soon!
